So Saturday has arrived yet again and my weekend is less than three hundred minutes or so from realization. To make it even better, my dearest darling swung by the restaurant with some liquid crack that I have vowed not to chug. I know that we have a few on the book, but the first reservation is still eons from now and the waiting game has only just begun.

The girls at work taught me how to make coffee drinks. At some point cokeheads learn to freebase, right?
This is my current elixir:
2 shots of espresso
8oz of coffee
2 scoops of powdered Chai
rest of the cup filled with Chocolate milk.
my work coffee? take one pack crappy fsa coffee (farmer bros, whatever), brew, and leave on burner for two hours. add nothing. enjoy.
I like to add 1/4 c. nutmeg.
a quarter of a cup of nutmeg? doesn't that make you trip balls?
I need a 1/4 c. just to feel normal.
at least you aren't bruleeing it like in the old days...the 'meg is one hell of a spice.

who smokes half a joint? Back when I had a semi-competent service staff, I had them trained to take any coffee left @ the end of the night and put it in a pitcher with a ton of sugar. On bad mornings, I would chug it right out of the pitcher, but more likely I would mix it with chocolate milk, ice and fresh 'meg and treat myself to a couple of "forty bags."
the drive=half joint, the other 4 and half are for when I get home and have some ipa to wash them down.
